Fun Imaginative Play with Bramble Box Subscription Boxes
Do your kids like to play dress up and use their imaginations? Mine do every day! There’s not a day that goes by that my youngest two don’t walk into the room dressed up as something new.
Fun imaginative play is great for young kids, not only because it stimulates imagination, but because it teaches them how to interact with each other, problem solve, connect with the world around them, and much more.
Bramble Box is a subscription box for kids that encourages fun imaginative play! We were sent not one but two boxes to review, and my kiddos are in LOVE! (Plus, there’s a giveaway for you at the end of this review!!)
From the mom who created Bramble Box:
Here at Bramble Box, we believe in the importance of good old fashioned play! Our small family business sell hand-packed Pretend Play Kits full of items and crafts to inspire children between 3 and 8 to expand their pretend play, encouraging creativity and imagination.
Our kits are both fun and educational. We sell the kits, by theme, individually in our online store or by gift subscription (of various duration). Starting at $23, they are perfect for birthdays and holiday gifts for $25 and under. Past themes have included Ice Cream Shop, Gardener, Post Office and Bakery.
The two boxes we received to review are the Post Office Pretend Play Kit and Veterinarian Pretend Play Kit. I was honestly surprised at how packed these boxes were for hours of fun! Unlike other subscription boxes where the crafts are used and then that’s it, these boxes contain dress up clothes and other useful play items that can be used again and again!
The Veterinarian Box was a huge hit with my kiddos, who love to play with their stuffed puppies and kitties. In this box is:
- Pretend pet food
- Xray craft (black paper and chalk)
- Vet tools (plastic syringe, masks, tongue depressors and bandage)
- Realistic stethoscope
- Animal head cone
- Patient record cards (more copies can be printed from Bramble Box)
- Appointment reminder cards (more copies can be printed from Bramble Box)
- Velcro Fleas
Thankfully the doctor was in the house for these poor little puppies!
The Post Office Box is tons of fun too! My daughter has already delivered about 20 letters…she really likes to ‘send and deliver’ mail! In this box is:
- Envelopes and notepad
- Reusable mailbag
- Letter addressing helper with dry erase pen
- Crayons to write and decorate mail
- Bramble box stamps
- Postal worker vest
- Stickers to decorate mail
- Activity ideas
What I really like about this box is the Letter Addressing Helper. I wrote out our names on the dry erase surface, and she copied them onto her letters, which is great practice for a 4 year old!
Look what I got in the mail! It’s the three kids and I!
These boxes are a great value! Individual boxes are $25 each OR you can order a subscription and get a new box every month!
