Help for Back Pain from Betterback
In search of help for back pain?
As a mom, I am often complaining of back pain. Especially now with a belly bump, I’m feeling the pain in my lower back quite a bit. Add to this how I’ll be nursing the baby soon and being a blogger and sitting at the computer for a few hours a day… ouch!
BetterBack was designed to help people who to sit for hours at a time avoid back pain. By helping you with your posture, it helps with lower back pain and can make you more aware of how you’re sitting.
I was sent a BetterBack to review, and it couldn’t have come at a better time!
Benefits of Better Posture
You’ve probably had someone in your life tell you not to slouch or you’ll get rounded shoulders. Sad, but true! There are other benefits though of good posture, such as:
- improved mood
- improved memory
- lower stress levels
- increased energy
Who wouldn’t want all of that?
How Does BetterBack Work?
BetterBack works by stabilizing your pelvis, restoring your spine’s natural curvature, and providing lumbar support to help you reap all the benefits of better posture.
To use, you unwrap BetterBack (comes zipped up in a convenient little pack!), wrap it around your back and legs, adjust the straps for the perfect customized fit, and clip the center clip if desired.
This video shows how to use it:
For me, I prefer the back section higher up on my back, towards my mid-back. With the pads on my knees and the straps adjusted, it makes me sit up more and be more aware of the posture of my shoulders.

Please excuse my 36 weeks pregnant body! Also, my 7 year old was my cameraman… Lol
It does take a bit to get it adjusted just right, but after adjusted the first time, it doesn’t really need to be moved again. It’s convenient that way; for those who would keep this at their desk, it could just be zipped up and put away, or unzipped and used again!
My only issue with it was keeping the knee pads in place. I feel like the material is a bit too slippery on the knee pads, but maybe with a different pair of pants with different material they might stay better. They would also stay better if they had a strip of non-slip grip material in the center of the pads.
Other than that, this was a great idea, and really, really helps with back pain when sitting for a long time!
Visit BetterBack to learn more and get help for back pain. It also would make a great gift for a coworker, boss, family member, or friend who sits for hours a day and needs relief from back pain!
