Alyssa says
I actually didn’t know I was supposed to get teachers gifts for Christmas. I honestly only do it once a year right before the end of the year. Shook.
Marissa says
Alyssa, it’s not something that you’re ‘supposed’ to do, but a lot of people do it to be nice in the middle of the year. When I was a teacher, I received gifts from my students at Christmas even though I never asked for anything. I was grateful to be recognized by my students and their parents, even if the gift was as simple as a homemade card or letter. In fact, those were often my favorite gifts! Ten years later, I still have many of the homemade gifts.
