AirMoji Review

AirMoji Review
Love fragrance but want a safe and non-toxic alternative to wax warmers, candles, and essential oil diffusers in your home? The AirMoji can help you fill your home with fragrance without wicks, wax, heat, or oils, which is great for people with kids or pets.
About the AirMoji Device
The AirMoji Device is unlike any other fragrance device on the market right now. The AirMoji is:
- portable
- rechargeable
- wireless
- wickless
- waxless
- flameless
- programmable from a smartphone
- safe to use around kids and pets
I personally have never heard about it until Megan, an AirMoji Distributer, contacted me for an AirMoji review. It interested me because it was something I could use around the kids. For the review, I chose Lilac Blossoms and Cedar Wood (which is actually an essential oil scent).
How AirMoji Works
It’s quite simple to use the AirMoji device.
- Twist open the AirMoji device. Inside you can see the fan that blows the scent around.
- Peel off both lids of scent canister to reveal the wood fiber core and insert into the device.
- Close AirMoji device and turn on.
- The battery-operated fan on the inside blows through the scent canister and spreads the scent.
Once on, it takes only a few seconds for the scent to begin spreading around the room. You can leave it running and manually turn it off with the button, or you can program it to run day or night from your smartphone using the app.
The button has three settings. The first time you push it, the AirMoji runs continuously. The second setting will cycle it on and off every hour. The third setting connects it to the app and tells it to run according to the app settings.
Does the AirMoji Work?
AirMoji Review:
I first tried my AirMoji with the Lilac Blossoms scent in my bedroom. After just about a minute, the room was filled with the scent of lilacs, as if real lilacs were blossoming right outside of my bedroom windows. I was able to smell it from the hallway leading to my bedroom, but no farther than that. I left it on for about two hours and the results were the same.
The device is quiet, so it would definitely be okay to leave on at night if I chose to do so.
I tried the Cedar Wood scent in the AirMoji in a larger space, in an open area where my dog sleeps and the kids play to see if the scent would fill the whole space. It not only filled the whole space, I could also smell it in the living room and in the entry way to our home.
Important to note: The AirMoji is supposed to fill a space of 3000 cubic feet with fragrance. In an average sized house, that might be the size of a master bedroom or living room. My bedroom is about 13x 13 ft with 8 ft ceilings, so the AirMoji filled it and more. The first level area I used the AirMoji in was around 20 ft x 20 ft with 10ft ceilings, and it filled that area as well. To fill an entire house with scent, two or three AirMojis would need to be purchased in my opinion.
How Long Does the AirMoji Last?
I used my AirMoji continuously until the battery ran out. In total, I believe I got about 20-25 hours out of one charge.
The scents are pretty long lasting, even with continuous use. I have had mine now for about two weeks or more and the scents have not worn out a bit. I used one for a few days, and then put it into a plastic bag so I could use the other for the sake of the review. I have the Lilac Blossoms back in it as I type and it still smells just as fresh as when I first opened it. I would imagine I’ll get a few weeks worth out of each fragrance pod.

That looks awesome! The pods seem a bit pricey, but if they’re lasting for a few weeks, then maybe not so much. Thanks for this review.

I really like the idea of this! The price is a little higher than I would pay. However, I could ask for it for a birthday gift!

What chemicals are in their pods? I use diffusers with essential oils.
Marissa says
This is from their website: “MojiLife fragrance wicks are made from wood fibers. MojiLife fragrances are imported from Europe, the United Stated, and other locations around the world. Allfragrances conform to European and American standards and do not contain any banned ingredients. Fragrances are non-toxic, gluten free, and soy free. All of our essential oil fragrances are filled with 15 ml of 100% essential oil.”
Helen says
Where can I get the ingredient list.. not this generic paragraph? Why not list ingredients, Fragrances can be anything and 15ml is like 290 drops of essential oil and in a diffuser that would last months!!
Marissa says
Helen, I suggest visiting the product’s website, listed in this review.

Don’t like this sentence: Love fragrance but want a safe and non-toxic alternative to wax warmers, candles, and essential oil diffusers in your home?
Essential oil diffusers are safe and non-toxic…..
Marissa says
I’m sorry you don’t like the sentence. I use essential oils and diffusers too, but they are not always safe to have around kids, which is why they come with the warning to keep away from children. If kids (or pets) find a bottle of certain essential oils (like tea tree) and ingest them or get them on their skin, they can be harmful, sometimes poisonous. While yes, diffusers can be safely used and are themselves safe, the oils themselves can be unsafe and potentially toxic if not properly used or stored.
Tabitha says
If a kid pulls a cord and pulls the diffuser off a shelf, that is not safe. The Mojilife is cordless.

This looks like a great option to candles and waxes, I love candles and wax melts but my husband finds them to be too strong This might be a meet in the middle product for us.
ellen beck says
This is interesting. I havent heard of this. I do cat rescue and have to watch things like a hawk. I love candles, but they can never be unattended. This would be a great solution.

This is so nice! I want to try it! The lady under me cooks really horribly STINKY, SMELLY, GAGGING foods, and it fills my whole place with stench! It is ruining my furniture even! Last night I had several scented candals, scentcy warmer, spraying essential oils, etc. The hard part is trying to keep an ongoing eye on the candles, and even the warmer for hours. Then I have to shut everything off when I go to bed, while the STENCH is still there. Yeaaa!!! Must do!
