Moodies Light Bulb Covers
Ever want to use colored light bulbs to set the mood in your home? The colors are fun, but the prices are so high! For one colored bulb, you could pay upwards of $5-$35 or more per bulb! I don’t know about you, but I don’t have that kind of money for just one light bulb.
Moodies has the solution! Moodies are the only heat-safe silicone light bulbs covers that can be used to change the color and mood of your lighting!
Moodies comes in a variety of colors, and are VERY afforable. For one Moodies Light Bulb Cover, it’s only $3.00, or for a rainbow pack of 9, it’s currently only $19.00. Compared to buying a single colored bulb for $35, it’s a deal!
How Do Moodies Work?
Since they are silicone covers, made of the same material as silicone baking pans, they are flexible and fit right over CFL or LED light bulbs. You just slip them on (I recommend doing so when they’re off!) and then turn on the light! (Note: These are NOT for incandescent bulbs!)
Thanks to Moodies, I was sent a set of 10 Moodies to try in my home as part of my 2014 Holiday Gift Guide. Since the holidays are coming, I tried a green Moodie for a Christmas display.
These colors are also awesome for party lights! My kiddos are excited to use these for their upcoming birthday parties. I would also love to use them for a New Years Eve party to get everyone in the party mood!
I really like that I can use and reuse Moodies over and over again. Eventually a colored light bulb would burn out, but Moodies will last a long time!
I also like that they are heat-safe. I don’t need to worry about them causing a fire when I use them over light bulbs.
