Beech Nut Natural Baby Food
When it comes to feeding our babies, we want the absolute best food there is. If we buy our baby food, we look for natural baby food that doesn’t have artificial ingredients or preservatives. We want real food for our babies, and that’s just what the new Beech-Nut has to offer.
I received free products as part of a promotional program with Beech-Nut and MomSelect. The words and opinions are mine.
I wanted what was best for all three of my babies when it came to food. With my oldest two, it was very convenient to reach for what I thought was the best jarred baby food for them. When my third baby came though, I wasn’t convinced with what was out there and I tried my best to make most of his pureed foods.
And then came Beech-Nut! The new Beech-Nut has natural ingredients; they don’t use any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. In every jar of their natural baby food it’s just real food, nothing else.
Beech-Nut has been providing quality baby products since 1931. They are a family owned company and partner with their growers to find the best available produce to make the best real baby food.
Beech-Nut Natural Baby Food Review
When I received my samples of Beech-Nut real food for babies, I was blown away by just the colors coming from the jars! The food was vibrant, not dull and browned like other jarred baby food could be.
If the natural colors of the food wasn’t enough, the tastes were amazing! Of the four flavors I received–just honeycrisp apple, beets, pear & pomegranate, just carrots, and just spinach, zucchini & peas– I’d say the carrots and the honeycrisp apple were my favorites!
My baby boy had his favorites too (after all, the food was for him, right?). He really liked the beets, pear & pomegranate and the carrots. He ate them out of his reusable food pouches and didn’t stop eating until it was all gone!
To make this real food for babies, Beech-Nut used “just gentle cooking™”, which involves finding the best quality ingredients as close to home as possible, cold pureeing the food so that it doesn’t lose nutrients, not adding artificial ingredients, indirectly heating the food so that no extra water is added, and putting the food into their BPA-free glass jars. They wanted this process to be just like homemade food was made, without all the extra ingredients and steps that might be taken otherwise with other brands of baby food.
There are 40 new flavors made from the highest quality fruits and veggies. Some of the new flavors include:
- just carrots
- just honeycrisp apple
- just mango, kiwi, and papaya
- just pear, raspberry, and asparagus
- just apple and aronia berry
- spinach, zucchini, and quinoa
