Scott’s Liquid Gold
What do you use to clean the wood surfaces in your home? I like to use cleaners and polishes with natural oils and not with polishes that contain wax so that I preserve the wood and not just cover it up. Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Cleaner is made with natural organic oils and polishes and preserves the wood surfaces in my house perfectly.
Thanks to Scott’s Liquid Gold and Tomoson, I was sent a full-sized sample of Scott’s Liquid Gold to review.
About Scott’s Liquid Gold:
Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Cleaner and Preservative was founded in 1951 in a garage in Denver, Colorado by a widow to support her three sons. Made with natural organic oils, it rejuvenates and restores all types of natural wood. Scott’s Liquid Gold has been a trusted name in household care for generations. We bet your mom or grandmother had a can of Liquid Gold under the kitchen sink!. Scott’s Liquid Gold makes high quality household products that are sold in stores across the US. Scott’s Liquid Gold has been in the same location since 1970 and is proud to be an American manufacturer.
Cleaning with Scott’s Liquid Gold
If you remember a while back, I reviewed Scott’s Liquid Gold Dust n’ Go Wipes, and I loved how they cleaned the wood surfaces in my house. This spray cleaner is even better! It not only deep cleans the wood to get rid of the dust and dirty fingerprints left behind by my kids, it also gives the wood a beautiful shine and leaves behind a yummy scent of warm almonds.
For this review, I used this spray everywhere, including all of my wood tables, kitchen chairs, wooden frames, and my most favorite thing in the world, my old piano.
This piano has been in my family for over a century. It belonged to my father’s great great aunt, who passed it on to her daughter, who in turn passed it on to me since I took piano lessons from her for years. It really means a lot to me, so I take care of it as well as I know how. Using Scott’s Liquid Gold on it helps to preserve this antique wood and to give it such a shine that is almost looks new again.
What I love about Scott’s Liquid Gold Wood Cleaner:
- It can be used on almost anything made of wood
- It covers scratches, nicks, and water damage
- It doesn’t contain water or waxes, which can be harmful to natural wood
- It has the most amazing warm almond scent
What else can Scott’s Liquid Gold be used for?
- Cleaning and polishing stainless steel and other metal surfaces
- Restoring and protecting heirlooms and antiques
- Lubricates hinges, bicycle chains, and more
Scott’s Liquid Gold is available at most grocery and discount stores including Lowe’s and Walmart for around $5.99 for the 10 oz. spray and $6.99 for a 14 oz. pourable version. Visit www.ScottsLiquidGold.com for more information or call 1-800-44 WOODS (96637).
