Organic Muslin Blankets Review (This post contains affiliate links)

Stylish Organic Muslin Blankets from Margaux & May

My kiddos love blankets. I kid you not; each of them has several on their bed and they have made claim to certain special ones in the living room when they’re cuddling on the couch. I think it’s because I swaddled them as babies in soft, organic muslin swaddling blankets….and that feeling of comfort and warmth just doesn’t fade.

When the makers of Margaux & May Organic Muslin Blankets asked me to write a review, I couldn’t pass it up!

Margaux & May is a company that strives to create products for moms that are stylish, sophisticated, and at the same time practical. The prints on their organic muslin blankets are not teddy bears or the standard pinks and blues. Instead, they have a bold feather print and a fun cheetah print.

My favorite? The feathers! It’s such a unique print and would make for great photo opps with a newborn baby (wishful thinking….but really!).

No matter the print, these blankets are so practical. They have so many uses (some listed below), and they last through many washes. Plus, with each wash they get softer and softer!

These blankets measure 47″ x 47″. They can be used by all ages thanks to this generous size!

What Can Organic Muslin Blankets Be Used For?

Obviously, if you have a baby, organic muslin blankets are great for swaddling. Since I didn’t have a baby at first of my own to show, here’s a sample using my daughter’s doll.

I was able to swaddle this 10 inch doll with a lot of blanket to spare. It is the perfect size for a newborn baby! In fact, when my daughter was born, I brought one with me to the hospital to swaddle her.

Muslin blankets are also great for:

  • ground cover, for when you have baby at a park or in the yard
  • car seat covers, for transporting baby outside in sun, rain, or cold weather
  • stroller covers, to keep the sun out of baby’s eyes
  • light blankets for toddlers and little kids
  • light blankets for adult legs (yep, even I use them!)

This little lady who can’t stand to have a blanket on her in her crib lately, can’t get enough of one of her muslin blankets today! She’s been carrying it around with her and snuggled up on the couch with it. ❤ . . . #babysnuggles @margauxandmay #feathers #muslinblanket #babyblanket #babycuddles #oneyearold

My youngest granddaughter was swaddled like that when she was a baby and after a while she wouldn’t even go to sleep unless she was; she loved the feeling. She’s 7 now but still loves blankets. She would have loved these muslin blankets.
