Batteries for Christmas
Imagine this: the kids run for the presents Christmas morning. Wrapping paper and ribbons are flying everywhere as they tear into their gifts, revealing new toys and electronics for their entertainment pleasure. They’re so excited, running around like little Tasmanian devils, begging you to skillfully extract the toys from their elaborate theft deterrent systems.
It’s then, and only then, you realize: you forgot to buy batteries.
Don’t Forget the Batteries for Christmas!
You know that there are going to be plenty of gifts your children will receive that require batteries. From RC cars, talking dolls, trains, video game controllers…you name it, it probably needs batteries!
I trust Duracell to be our batteries of choice this Christmas. In fact, I have begun stocking up on them now!
Duracell CopperTop All-Purpose alkaline batteries are not only dependable, they’re also long-lasting. You can take comfort in a 10-year guarantee in storage with Duralock Power Preserve Technology. They’re great for many of the devices you use on a daily basis in your home. And from storm season to medical needs to the holidays, Duracell is the #1 trusted battery brand of first responders, pharmacists and parents, so you know it’s a battery you can trust. CopperTop batteries are available in AA, AAA, C, D and 9V.
It’s a good idea to start stocking up on batteries now while you can in these few weeks before Christmas.
I suggest at least a pack of each kind; you never know what you’ll need on Christmas morning!
The four pack of AA can be handy, but I always reach for the 16 pack. With four kids, there are going to be quite a few presents that will need those batteries!
Here’s a fun idea: Include some batteries in your kiddos’ stockings that go along with a bigger present. Have the kids open the gifts in their stockings first on Christmas morning and tell them to take guesses at what the batteries will be used for. It’ll make opening the bigger presents even more exciting!
