Waterproof Crib Mattress Protector
Not only do little kids make messes in playrooms, living rooms, or the whole house, they also can make messes in bed. To keep crib mattresses safe, it’s a great idea to have a waterproof crib mattress protector to catch any wetness that may seep through crib sheets.
Little Loved Ones sent me their 100% waterproof and breathable waterproof crib mattress protector. It has a soft, quilted cover on top and a waterproof backing underneath. It’s designed to fit both crib mattresses and toddler bed mattresses, so you can get your money’s worth out of it!
I fully intended on trying out the waterproof crib mattress protector on my little guy’s crib mattress (toddler leaks, drool, etc.), but I found another, very very useful way to review it. It just so happened that my little girl, who still sleeps in a toddler bed, came down with a stomach virus. See where I’m going here?
Normally, when she gets sick, I double up on her sheets and place a towel over her pillow and down the side of her bed leading to the bucket (you know, where I hope she throws up…). The last thing I want to do in the middle of the night is to clean everything including the mattress should it get thrown up on.
By using the Little Loved Ones waterproof crib mattress protector, I was able to skip the second sheet and protect the mattress from getting gross (no really. Ever try to clean off that smell??).
It fits the mattress very well, just as a fitted sheet would. I would have no issues using such a crib mattress protector in a crib with a newborn.
It’s also very soft. You can’t tell that there’s a waterproof backing underneath. My daughter, who’s a light sleeper like me, had no problems getting comfy in bed with just the waterproof crib mattress protector on.
Thankfully, she didn’t upchuck on it, but she did happen to spill her cup of water on the bed. It wasn’t difficult at all to just take the cover off of the bed and throw it in the wash.
I highly suggest this Little Loved Ones Waterproof Crib Mattress Protector! Many thanks to Little Loved Ones for sending me one to review!

My toddler’s in a twin bed now, so this would be for the baby that’s due at the end of the month! 🙂

I’d use this for my toddler and potty training at nights!

I would use this for my toddler now that we’re trying to potty train, then if we have another baby. My son had bad reflux and spit up all the time until he ate solids so I won’t be surprised if baby #2 does the same!
