How to Stay Warm at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane
Brr! This time of year can be pretty chilly in Hershey, so it’s best to know how to warm up while you’re there!
At Christmas Candylane, there are a few ways to keep warm:
Get a souvenir hot chocolate mug. Nothing is better than hot chocolate on a chilly day! With a souvenir mug deal, you can drink FREE hot chocolate ALL DAY LONG, and depending on which mug you get, either free or just $1 for the rest of the season. Every 10 minutes, you can stop at one of the many food stands selling hot chocolate to fill up to stay warm.
If you visit Simply Chocolate, they also have a hot chocolate bar where you can choose between a few different kinds, like Reese’s Peanut Butter, mint, and more! (If you prefer a cooler treat, they have their King Sized Shakes as well!)

Catch The Littlest Tree in the Music Box Theatre. The seasonal show at Hersheypark is The Littlest Tree. It’s a heartwarming story about trying to find the perfect family for Douglas, the smallest tree in a tree lot.
Visit with Santa. Santa! I know him! Visit with Santa in Santa’s Candy Cottage, located in the Kissing Tower Hill area. Kids can sit on the jolly old man’s lap, tell him their Christmas wishes, and get a picture taken. (Note: Lines might get long for this attraction!)

Ride an indoor ride. Laff Trakk, Reese’s Cupfusion, and the Kissing Tower all give you a chance to warm up inside while still enjoying amusement rides. Just keep in mind that you may have to wait outside for a bit in line before boarding the ride!
Tip for visiting @hersheypark : Download their park app to find out how long you'll wait in lines at the rides! #hersheyparkhappy #hersheypaVisit the indoor animal exhibits at ZooAmerica. While there are animals like bears, wolves, elk, and mountain lions that enjoy being outdoors, many of ZooAmerica’s inhabitants prefer a warmer climate indoors. Visit with these animals in the Southern Swamps and Great Southwest buildings to get a break from the chilly fall air.

Fill up on a warm treat. At various food stands in Hersheypark, you can find specialty s’mores treats, along with roasted nuts, hot pretzels, and many other foods that will warm up your insides.
NOEL Light Show
When the sun goes down, the holiday lights shine brightly all over the park. You can see a NOEL light show down in The Hollow beginning at 5pm every night, with a new show every half hour.

Can’t make it down to The Hollow? You can view the shows from any of the bridges over the creek in that area too!
Is Hersheypark Christmas Candylane Worth It?
If you like a festive holiday spirit, riding amusement park rides in the fall/winter, constant holiday tunes, filling up on hot chocolate or s’mores, seeing Santa and his 9 reindeer, enjoying a lightshow, and SO MUCH MORE, then yes, I’d say Hersheypark Christmas Candylane is definitely worth it!
My family and I really had a blast. We got to the park around 1 pm and stayed until about 6:30 pm. In that time, we got to do almost everything on our list (Reese’s Cupfusion line was just too long, but we have been on it before!).
After we saw the light show in The Hollow, the kids were getting tired and cold, so we decided it was time to go. Over 5 hours in the park was a long day for them, but they were so filled with joy knowing our next adventure was to Sweet Lights (see below) and then a stay at The Hershey Lodge!
How Much Are Hersheypark Christmas Candylane Tickets?
Tickets to Hersheypark Christmas Candylane are $49.15 per person. From now until November 24th you can save 25% if you purchase the tickets online and pay only $34.95 per person.
