Sippity Hot Cocoa Mix
Don’t you love hot chocolate this time of year? It is one of my favorite winter drinks, especially after a long, cold day. And let’s not forget the kiddos who beg for it after playing in the snow!
Thanks to Southwest Beverages, I was sent a box of Sippity instant hot chocolate to review. Perfect timing for the holidays!

Sippity® Hot Cocoa Mix comes in six delicious flavors:
- Chocolate
- Chocolate Marshmallow
- Chocolate Cinnamon
- Pumpkin Spice
- Chocolate Peppermint
- Chocolate Raspberry
The kiddos were the first to try the Chocolate Marshmallow. They loved it and begged for more!
I was most interested in the Pumpkin Spice, Chocolate Raspberry, and the Chocolate Peppermint. While I tend to shy away from spicy pumpkin mixes, this Pumpkin Spice mix was fantastically delicious. It was balanced just right in terms of spices.
The Chocolate Peppermint, one of my favorite seasonal flavors, was really good. I may have added a shot of Peppermint Schnapps to it for an adult version of this pepperminty hot chocolate!
My absolute favorite was (‘was’ because I have used it all!) the Chocolate Raspberry. It was so indulgent and creamy. It was great alone, but it was also great in my Chocolate Raspberry Latte and Chocolate Raspberry Protein Shake Recipes!
Recipes Using Hot Chocolate
For the Chocolate Raspberry Latte, it was as simple as mixing a half a pack of the Chocolate Raspberry mix in with my coffee and a hint of a French vanilla coffee creamer. I don’t use sugar in my coffee, but if you want a bit extra sweetness, you can add in 1/2 tsp.
For the Chocolate Raspberry Protein Shake, you can mix:
- 6-8 oz milk (substitute water, almond milk, etc)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein mix
- 1/2 pack Sippity Chocolate Raspberry Mix
- 1/2 tsp organic matcha green tea (for an energy boost)
Mix all ingredients well and enjoy! This particular shake had about 20 g of protein and just about 330 calories. It is perfect as a midday snack!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the hot cocoa. First, I love all the flavors. I think my family would love the marshmallow best. Second, I love that it’s gluten free because my Mom lives with us and she has Celiacs Disease. I like when we can find products for all of us.

omg I have never been so excited about hot coa coa in my life. I am going to order it all. I cannot wait to try the coctail you made above. I did not even know that coa coa came in different flavors. I have only had it regular and then at times put my dry coa coa into my coffee. This is awesome
